One activity that you can't miss out on experiencing while you are in Cairns Australia is visiting the Outer Great Barrier Reef. There are so many incredibly coloured fish and corals that your mind will spin and your hands will get sore from taking so many snaps.

There are five different kinds of reef trips that you can choose from, and it all depends on your pesonality as to which kind is going to suit you. As I have done all but one or two reef day cruises from Cairns, I have selected the Great Barrier Reef daytrips that I thought were great.

These tours are excellent value for money and are mainly for the young. However, if you are adventurous in nature, you will surely like these cruises. Of course there are many more options available, feel free to contact us for any more info.

If you're wanting a boat cruise that's a lot of fun, in addition to great snorkelling and diving, then look no further!

Noah's Ark was one of the first 'budget' reef cruise companies to operate tours out to the Great Barrier Reef from Cairns. You will not find any cheaper than 'Noah's' and it is very good value for money.

Noah's Ark visits Michaelmas Cay, as well as Sinker Reef, and you can look forward to having about three hours swimming time in total. The staff are heaps of fun, and will help you out when it comes time to do some boom netting (for those unfamiliar with the term 'boom netting', this involves a large net being towed behind a slow moving vessel, and you hopping in and holding on to it, as well as holding on to your bikini!).
It's certainly not the best boat in the world, but half the fun is the journey and you'll enjoy Noahs Ark if what you want is a nice 'chilled' day.
